Hey! I'm Varun Gupta, nice to meet you!
I am a Software Engineer at Splunk, primarily working on the Splunk Apple TV app and the Splunk TV Companion iPad app.
I earned my Bachelor of Software Engineer degree from the University of Waterloo in 2020 (Canada went into lockdown a few weeks before end of my final term - virtual convocation was an interesting experience). I'm passionate about software and love working with technology. I enjoy working on mobile apps, whether it is iOS or Android, because it allows me to build products and features that anyone can use and enjoy. I also enjoy working with High-Performance Computing (HPC) and cloud computing because of the interesting challenges that occur when dealing large-scale infrastructure.

Apart from software development, I like to play soccer and ultimate frisbee when the weather is nice. I also enjoy watching CW's The Flash so if you're a Flash fan, feel free to get in touch - I'm always happy to discuss theories, favourite characters, episodes, etc.!
